Billy Gibbons talks guitars and his Gibson Les Paul Pearly Gates

Billy Gibsons talks about his first guitar, a Gibson Melody Maker, and his Fender and Gibson years. The most famous Gibson that Billy owns is probably his 1959 Gibson Les Paul "Pearly Gates", he tells the story of how he got it and how it got it's name. Gibson Custom shop recently replicated and reissue the iconic Les Paul played by Billy Gibbons. They done the standard 50 exact copies which cost a fortune, then an aged copy, then a standard VOS version.

Billy Gibbons also plays a Firebird like Gretsch, I'm still trying to find his comments on this guitar.
