Godin 5th Avenue - Acoustic archtop

One of the most exciting acoustics to enter the under $500 category is the Godin 5th Avenue. I played it a few times in guitar shops and it's amazing. The guitar is a traditional artchtop guitar with f-holes. Godin aimed to make a vintage style archtop acoustic, with a vintage sound, tone, feel and look, and at a affordable price, and they achieved it. Godin have really put a foot in the market for acoustic archtops now, players now have a decent archtop to purchase rather than drooling over Gibson L-50's all their life while playing a cheap alternative. Rolling from the success of the 5th Avnue, Godin then released the Godin 5th avenue kingpin, which is has a pickup with it.

The Godin 5th avenue gives all that you would expect, a warm tone, from the Canadian Cherry wood, idea for mellow jazz chords.
