Another Slash signature? - Gibson Les Paul Appetite Guitar

Gibson have teamed up with their favorite rockstar once again to bring you the Slash Appetite guitar. How many signature Les Pauls has Slash got now, at least 4 or 5. The original Les Paul that Slash used at the start of Guns N' Roses for the Appetite for Destruction album was actually a copy Les Paul, Slash couldn't afford a real Les Paul in those days and wanted a reissue which Gibson didn't make back them. The Les Paul however was a good copy and gave a unique tone and remains Slashes favourite studio guitar. How ironic that Gibson are now trying to replicate a copy Les Paul. The new Gibson Slash Appetite Les Paul tries to replicate the original by tone woods, looks and pickups, and Slash claims that they done a good job.

Sammy Hagar Interview - Gibson Les Paul Red Rocker Sammy Hagar signature

(Video below - www.guitarheroesgear.com)

Sammy Hagar releases his own signature Les Paul at last. Sammy Hagar was formerly singer of Van Halen and more recently lead singer of the new super band Chickenfoot with Joe Satriani. Although Sammy Hagar is normally over shadowed by his lead guitarist in the bands he's been in namely Eddie Van Halen and Joe Satriani, he is also a good guitarist in his own right.

The new Gibson Sammy Hagar Red Rocker Les Paul looks nice red flamed maple top, overless black and beige  pickups, gold speed knobs, and cream binding. Reminds me a bit of Slashes Gibson Snakepit signature Les Paul released many years ago. The guitar has '57 Classic pickups at the neck and burstbucker 3 at the bridge for classic Gibson tones. The headstock has the Chickenfoot logo.

This guitar's not gonna sell millions thats for sure, even Sammy admitted it in his video, but Sammy deserves a cool signature guitar and what other company to do it with than Gibson.
